How To Alleviate Top Of Foot Pain With This Lacing Technique

Let’s talk a little bit about how to alleviate top-of-foot pain. We’ve all experienced it at one time or another when we’ve tied our shoes too tight and the laces are pressing down on the top of the foot.

When that happens, you loosen the laces, and it feels better.

But some people have a high instep.

This means that they have a thicker foot from the arch to the top of the foot.

This thickness adds more pressure against the tongue of the shoe and the laces.

This causes constant pressure, pain, and hot spots.

So just loosening the laces doesn’t remove the pain.

So you have to do something different.

And that means relacing the shoe in a different way so it removes any pressure from the top of the foot.

In the video above, I’ll walk you through a lacing technique that will do exactly that.

It’s quite different from the standard lacing that we all know.

But it works really well to alleviate top-of-foot pain that you can experience, especially if you have a high instep.

So take a look at the video, then lace your shoes just like it shows, and see how much it helps.

And if you still have pain, then scroll down and schedule an appointment so we can find the solution.
