Today, we’re going to dive into the Hoka Bondi versus the Clifton and discuss the main differences between these two shoes. Plus, you’ll see what one of the main differences is between the Hokas and the other major brands. So let’s dive in…
The Bondi and the Clifton are two of the most popular Hoka models. Plus, they are two of the top-selling shoes here at the store.
But just because they are popular does not mean they are the same.
There are some pretty big differences between the two.
When it comes to the Clifton, it is lighter, has a little less midsole, and tends to fit a more narrow foot.
As for the Bondi, it has more cushion than the Clifton, but that does add a bit more weight.
If you are running in Bondi’s, you don’t really feel the weight because the cushion takes a bit of the stress off of your feet and legs.
What’s interesting about the Bondi’s, though, is that the Bondi 7’s seem to have a sleeker fit than the other versions. Even the Bondi 8.
Many people prefer the Bondi 7 over the 8.
Oh, and one other thing about the Bondi, it’s the only model in Hoka’s lineup that offers men’s sizes in medium, wide, and extra wide.
For women, it’s only medium and wide.
As for which one is better for your feet…
There’s only one true way to know for sure, and that is to try them on and have them fitted.
